BOSTON, Oct. 23, 2007 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) -- GE (NYSE:GE) Energy Tuesday said that it has signed a $730 million-dollar agreement with Energias de Portugal, the world's fourth largest wind project developer.Under the agreement GE Energy, a unit of General Electric Co., said it will supply Energias de Portugal with turbines for wind projects that will be developed in 2008 and 2009 in Europe and the United States.
